i am a caucasian english-speaking 55 yr. old non-smoking female. i am an lpn that is looking for a full-time live-in or live-out caregiver/nursing position. my ideal position would be within a 20 mile radius of washington twp., mi. i have over 24 years of nursing experience with 20 years being in geriatrics. i have worked in hospitals & nursing homes but truly enjoy in home care positions. i feel that if i can keep your loved one out of a nursing or assisted living facility by caring for them in their own home, i am helping them maintain a sense of security and independence as well as giving the family peace of mind that in case of a medical emergency, i am professionally trained to control & handle the situation. i am currently a live-in caregiver and have been employed by the family since 8/2005. my duties include; preparing meals, light housekeeping, administering medications and oxygen, assisting walking, bathing, dressing etc., as well as transporting to doctors appointments.
