I am looking to rehome Pookie in a home where his loud voice will not disturb any neighbors and where he can be just a bird untill he comes out of his shell. He is timid at first but after he is in his new surroundings he starts warming up to his people but he still holds some fear and doesn't step up on your hand easily. He loves treats and this would probally be the quickest way to get him to warm up to you. Pookie is a rescue bird and in the past he had limited cage space and little contact with people so he is still learning what people are all about. He knows a few words such as Momma, Mom, Sue-ey, Up, Bye. He should go to a home that has experience with taming birds and to a home that will allow him time to adjust. He will go with the cage I got him in but I would suggest you buy a larger cage since it is small and I feel the reason he was narotic when I got him.
