This bird is about 4 years old. It comes with a cage.

I am looking for a good home for her. I have a very large dog, and I cant him away from her and I am afraid that he might get a hold of her.

She it very entertaining, in the evening I let her out of the cage and she spends a lot of time with me. She loves to unbutton anything, over and over. She does not like to be petted on the back or grabbed, but you can touch her anywhere else.

In the wild, lorikeets feed on nectar and pollen from plants and flowers. A lorikeet however requires a special diet that is mixed with water. I will provide information on the diet that I feed her. I make it about every 4-6 weeks and freeze it. Due to the largely liquid diet of lorikeets, her droppings are also of a very liquid nature. Her cage must be cleaned daily.
